The new Laptop Security Plate System is an excellent choice to protect laptops in higher risk environments like schools, hospitals, libraries and other public areas. It is easy to install, inexpensive and unobtrusive but the interlocking steel plate system makes unauthorized removal of your laptop practically impossible. Yet, with the turn of a key your laptop is released and regains it’s portability.

The 11.5” by 11.75” footprint works with all laptops and notebook computers. The bottom plate that contains the locking mechanism is normally bolted to a desk, table or mobile cart using the predrilled mounting holes. Neoprene adaptors are then attached to the bottom of the laptop with an advanced 3M adhesive. The neoprene adaptors attach to the top plate (with the screws provided) and the two plates are locked together forming an extremely secure lockdown. The neoprene adaptors act as the laptop’s feet when it is used without the security plate system. The Laptop Security Plate System comes in both “keyed alike” and "master keyed" versions. The master keyed version ships with one master key included and additional master keys are also available.
