The new Mac mini/iMac Security Plate System is the ideal Mac security solution for high-risk environments like schools, hospitals, libraries and other public areas. It is easy to install, inexpensive and unobtrusive but the interlocking steel plate system makes unauthorized removal of your Mac practically impossible.

The 6” by 8.5” footprint fits the new Mac mini, iMacs and iMac G5s and many Mac flat panel displays. The bottom plate that contains the locking mechanism is normally bolted to a desk, table or mobile cart using the predrilled mounting holes. Neoprene adaptors are then attached to the bottom of the Mac mini or iMac with an advanced 3M adhesive. The top plate can then be attached to the adaptors (with the screws provided) and the two plates locked together. Mac mini/iMac Security Plate System comes in both “keyed alike” and "master keyed" versions. The master keyed version ships with one master key included and additional master keys are also available.
