The Ring Attachment Kit is designed to work with the attachment rings found on many Dell, IBM, Compaq/HP, Gateway and other computers that make an accessory bracket unnecessary (check for the security tab or ring in your owners manual or check the back of the computer). With this economical solution the cable is looped around a fixed surface to form an anchor point and then locked to the security ring in the back of the CPU with the padlock. If a flat panel monitor is being used the cable can often be looped around to secure it also. A Keyed alike version of this kit is available for an additional $2.00; a keyed differently with master key version is available for an additional $3.50. Master keys themselves can be purchased separately. Available with clear or black cable.
