These special cables have a return loop on one end but the other end features a special narrow fitting designed to fit through virtually any bracket or Micro Clip. The keyhole plate that comes with this cable fits into a notch on the narrow end and once locked in place with a padlock (sold separately) can not be removed until the padlock is unlocked. Made from the same vinyl coated steel aircraft cable with 7x7 strand construction and 1,700 pound breaking strength as our standard cables. The Special Steel Cable and Keyhole Plate is ideal for locking up more than one device using a Micro Clip attachment (as in a laptop and flat screen monitor configuration) or for more than one computer (as in a classroom application).
